This album focuses on the suffering we see along our city streets each day, e.g., panhandling, drug addiction, prostitution, homelessness...etc. It is a call to open our eyes, see the suffering of our neighbors and take action to make their lives better. I hope this music challenges us to reflect on those issues.

Emmanuel Songsore is a Ghanaian-born Canadian-based multi-instrumentalist and composer. His musical approach is largely improvisational.
